COMPTON EFFECT || Quantum Mechanics in HINDI for B.Sc.

In this Physics video lecture in Hindi for B.Sc. we explained Compton effect of scattering of x-rays with formula derivation. Arther Holly Compton found that when x-rays are targeted to graphite block, the rays scatter and wavelength changes according to the scattering angle. To study the scattered rays he used Bragg Spectrometer. He derived the formula for the change in the wavelength as Δλ = λc (1 - cos θ). Here λc is called the Compton wavelength. This effect is known as the Compton effect. To explain this effect Compton considered the particle behaviour of x-rays. This experiment further establishes the dual nature of electromagnetic waves. For his work Compton recieved the Nobel Prize in Physics.
