Sir hume ye to pata hai ki jab koi photon kisi metal surface se takrata hai tab electrons bahr aate hai . Ab ab ek electron beam nickel se takra Raha hai tab vo absorb to nhi hoga kyon ki us atom k orbital k electrons use repel karenge phir vo electron beam andar kaise ja Raha hai? Aur andar chala bhi gya toh waha interaction kaisa hota hai ?

SIR, agar atom ka 99.99% Part Khali hai to light ka reflection kyse possible hota hai????
@edupoint.physics
@edupoint.physics 6 жыл бұрын
Good! Atom zyaadatar khaali hai. Par charo taraf electron exist karta hai. Jab hum high energy alpha particle bombard karte hain to electron se use kuchh khaas fark nahi padta hai aur alpha particle nucleus se hi deflected hota hai. Par is case me ye electron beam hai, jo ki electron ke orbital ko penetrate nahi kar pata hai. I hope it clears your doubt.

Well physics lover ! Light behaves like particle. We saw in compton effect. Photon interacts with electrons. When it cannot dislodge electron from its orbital, it just gets reflected.
