How to have multiple next steps from a process? i.e. a process has three or four connections coming out of it?
@computertutoring3 жыл бұрын
You can use the connection tool on a shape: 1 - Select the shape 2 - Click the connection point tool (Home - Tools - Cross looking icon) 3 - Hold down control and click where you want the connections points to be. Hope this helps

Where is the process owner in the Visio diagram ?
@computertutoring4 жыл бұрын
Good question I usually answer this with a cross functional flowchart or swim lanes kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6qoZ6aNiKtrq7c

I read on the page of Microsoft, that you need a subscription for Office365. Is it true? Did they change it? It is about Visio Plan 2 to use the function of Data Visualizer. Maybe Visio Online Plan 2 different to Vision Plan2. Hope you can help me. Many thanks.

Hi yes as far as I'm aware that you need the office 365 subscription I pay around £11.30 a month for Visio. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Hi guys I'm using Visio Pro 2019 and I'm trying to export a data base from excel to Visio in order to create processes. I watched the video and tried to do the same on the 2019 version but the shapes aren't automatically linked like in this video. Any ideas ? Thanks for the help :)

I will look more at connecting shapes to data in future tutorials

PS: Can this work the other way? I map in ARIS, and have 37 detailed drawings that would benefit from being in traditional BPMN - a table creation in Excel, and re-import into Visio would save me a bucket-load of time.

Professor. Do you know if the flowchart from excel wizard allows for BPMN as a valid stencil?

You need to change the title because data visualizer only works in Visio online, not in Visio 2016 or 2019. This makes me embarrassing.
@computertutoring4 жыл бұрын
Done although thanks for the advice I could say Create Flowchart in Visio 2016 or 2019 with Data Visualiser but only with Visio Online data 2 but I think you get the idea hopefully the explanation in the beginning of the tutorial clears things up as to the exact version of Visio. Sorry for any misunderstandings

Very useful :) although my spelling OCD kicked in at the end - subscribe, not subsribe ;)

Yes thankyou. Any future videos won't have the music on. Hope you got your flowchart sorted.
