and it was amd too, i wonder if they didn't have stable enough intel chip, since 8000G were able to get up to 10,000 speed, but i don't think i ever heard of intel going that high

I know RGB does nothing on memory modules. I wish it did kind of like the clear glass modules used in the Hal 9000. But it does look really cool.

The new memory form factor might be better for overclocking. It's closer to the socket so it will have shorter traces. I'm quite interested in this arrowlake specific RAM, this is the first I've heard of such of thing, especially if it has a special chip inside. I'm assuming it's optional and arrowlake will be compatible with standard ddr5...

The CAMM2 runs faster due to shorter traces on circuit board, Allows for a more consistent signal. Problem is you can't really expand and buy 2 sticks and then add 2 later. I would have to see real world numbers to design a system with a CAMM based motherboard and look at overall cost for DDR5 CAMM module versus a standard design

Why dose no one ever talk about the lack of upgradability for the new RAM form factor?? They all just have one stick. You can't add more RAM at a later date.
