Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Part 8 of memoirs of a German King Tiger Tank Panzer Commander, who served as a gunlayer on a Panzer tank during Operation Barbarossa; led a company of Tigers at Kursk; a company of King Tiger panzers at Normandy and in late 1944 commanded a battle group against the Russians in Hungary. He was awarded many highest Wehrmacht awards for bravery Link of the playlist kzbin.info/aero/PLGjbe3ikd0XFWFT3fBpJhBAkmOAgR68-1 Link of Part 1kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZLHm6uwh51sr9E Link of Part 2 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoq6fmCnbt-ne9k Link of Part 3 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqTVZ3xsj5WNq68 Link of Part 4 kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5TceGmZa8tjqKM Link of Part 5 kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKC8c3iJnbypo9E Link of Part 6 kzbin.info/www/bejne/jILcm5VvaNpkf7s Link of Part 7 kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWfHnmujhbFrpdU

Rambo! Anywhere and everywhere, the S.A.V.A.G.E. forces of General Warhawk threaten the peace-loving people of the world, there's only one man to call! [Trautman: Get me Rambo!] From the canyons of skyscrapers to the canyons of remote mountain peaks, liberty's champion is unstoppable. Rambo! around 2010, I met a woman lawyer from Budapest, perhaps age 50 at the time, hence born around 1960, so her parents may have been young children during the war. She was blond, perhaps of German descent? had aristocratic mannerisms? She was very bitter, blaming the Hungary's circumstance on the outcome of the war (WWII). I had a brief tour of eastern europe in the late 80's. Czechoslovakia at the time, seem best economically, with east Germany not far off, and Budapest seemed ok compared to the poorer areas. As she irritated me, I had to hold back in not saying that you have to fight hard for a place in the sun. If the Wehrmacht had better allies, perhaps they could have stalemated the war and negotiated better terms.

In the end they didn’t negotiate anything; it was an unconditional surrender

@@robertdaniels2549 more significantly, they ended up being "liberated" by the Soviets. Compare Japan. Exactly what was the disposition of Hungary? Finland withdrew from the war. Romania switched sides? Hungary had an armistice, but some army units remained with the Germans?

I've known and know many Hungarians here in Australia...... they're not whingers so I suppose that She must have been used to "the finer things" and "finest people"?. She sounds like a "Negative Joanna". These people to my mind are often no better than Parasites.

The 80's?......I remember visiting Russia in '81, the conditions of Red Army Veterans sleeping in the City park's was beyond depressing, nothing but a park bench and this was May!.

Sad for any soldier to be sleeping on a park bench. After serving their country. I'm no Communist. I'm definitely not, but they still were soldiers. They deserve better than a park bench.@AnthonyOMulligan-yv9cg

I don’t know how the German Generals looked at the vastness of Russia and actually thought it could be conquered, especially when their front line units couldn’t be resupplied.
