‘We got a dropper!!’ Fin knows how to lighten the mood
@VGJoker6 ай бұрын
Y'know, as bad as it was for her to lie to the family like that, I gotta commend Kristen for what she did at the end. She didn't have to expose Nikki after what she told her. It wasn't any of her business. She could've just gone home with her mom and forget the whole thing. But she MADE IT her business and she took the time to go back, expose Nikki's crime, and provide closure on Heather's disappearance before she left. Edit: Thinking about it now, her father lied to her about her mother for years. She probably thought about Nikki and her mom lying to the rest of their family, saw it as the same thing she went through, and felt like she couldn't just leave, knowing someone else was going through what she did.
@lukerosales58796 ай бұрын
@VGJoker well the family understood WHY she had to lie. Her own biological father kidnapped, chained her up and r4ped her for so many years and had the gall to tell her that her mom died, destroying any hope she had left. As for Nikki, she was a junkie plain and simple. Honestly if I were the eldest sister I would've let her jump for what she did - murdering her sister so she could keep getting high is outright unforgivable. What Kirsten did given her circumstances was forgivable to a degree, if her lie stuck longer then her father wouldn't have been able to get to her.

This was based on a true story kind of, a serial imposter called Frederic Bourdin claimed to be a missing child from the U.S., he had a French accent and completely different facial features. When he met with the family it seemed like the sister was coaching him to give all the right answers so that they could declare he was the missing child which seems sketchy now and some people believe that someone in the family was responsible for killing the original child and that was why they were so eager to take in the imposter.

I actually have a book about this guy, and you know this family ks messed up when the Serial Imposter himself later said he was also unnerved by them being very accepting and encouraging of it all, also believing that they may have done somwthing judging by the way they talked about their "deliquent" son Btw, Fredic apparently has been doing much better and has a wife and daughter

This one really pissed me off. That girl, Nikki, seriously killed her own sister because she was going to tell their parents she was doing drugs?? Are you f*cking kidding me?! For some meaningless sh*t like that, she pushed her little sister down a chimney stack!! And then she was going to do the same thing to Kristin, the girl who pretended to be Heather, who was a childhood abuse victim may I add, before Liv, Elliot, and Erica showed up in time to stop her. AND, as the cherry on top of this "These People Are All So Full Of Sh*t" Sundae, Mrs. Hallander, their mother, knew about what Nikki did and didn't say anything. For years. I get that she didn't want to lose another daughter, but for f*ck's sake Ma'am, she pushed your youngest child down a chimney!!

Isn't this episode partially based on that one man (I can't remember the details) who basically "kidnapped" his own daughter because she was going to go out with a boyfriend and locked her in the basement for YEARS and raped her continuously? And she even gave birth to his kids 💀she only was able to escape after going to the hospital because one of the kids was dying and he agreed to take her to the hospital and that's when she took advantage of the situation and ran for help. Such a situation, but hearing this episode vaguely reminded me of it: obviously, they made it a bit different, but this case was sad and disgusting.

So, the Hollanders reported their daughter, Heather, missing. Not knowing at the time that Nikki had killed Heather because heather had seen her doing drugs and was going to tell. Mrs. Hollander found out later and chose to stay quiet because she didn’t want to lose two of her daughters. Fake Heather (Kristin) did not know Nikki or the the real Heather. When she showed up, she somehow figured out that Nikki had killed the real Heather; and went to warn the family. Which brings us to the rooftop.

It’s odd that the thing that pisses me off the most about this episode was the part about the blood. That’s not how blood works and is extremely damaging information to get wrong. My mom is A. My dad is either A or B. I am A, too. My TWIN brother is O. No one else in my family is O. And yes we both are my fathers kids. It’s likely for a parent and child to have the same blood type but by no means a guarantee and saying otherwise can just ruin a bunch of relationships
@sanaf35186 ай бұрын
The only thing they got wrong was when they said Heather can only be type A. Two type A parents can either produce type A or type O, if they're AO and AO; but if the parents are AA and AA, then the child will only be A-in which case the docs would be right; regardless the children wouldn’t be type B. So they weren't wrong. For your case, your parents are probably AO/BO and AO, which resulted in you and your twin having these blood types
