I know I'm not the only one to say this, but one of the greatest thing about Conan is his timeless quality. He doesn't focus so heavily on current events thus most of his bits are still funny and relevant today. He uses almost entirely universal humor found in the mundanity of life, like wandering around the streets looking at Christmas lights... and that's why he's brilliant.

I consider myself a rather pc person and know for a fact that gay conversion therapy is bullshit, doesn't work and is actually harmful to people. However, I still laughed at this joke. What does that tell you? I genuinely think that people make too big of a deal out of pc culture. No one's gonna really "cancel" you for making an off-color joke. If that were the case then people like Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle and hundreds of other comedians would be out of work, and obviously that's not the case. It's the same as it's always been: certain comedians work for very specific audiences, and if the audience doesn't like their jokes then they gotta either change their audiences or change their jokes. Once around Christmas I was at a store they had a Rodolf the Rednose Reindeer head who's mouth moved when you talk into it. So I grabbed the mic and started saying weird things in it all I got was Laughs from passing customers and a few strange looks I think I tried to get someone to pet the reindeer head they were like NO im good. It was fun doing that I think it made some of the Employees laugh cause they didn't get mad however the must have wondered where the voice was coming from then they see me
