Oh my gooooshhh I had requested an evil castle without mods, as a console player, I can’t have mods. But I had no idea you would ever cover Norse longhouses! I want to see if you can combine evil castle wizardry with Norse structures. Make a small four to five building town, give it fortress walls, build it in a location so you don’t have to use to many walls, a place with natural defences, a decent view, and local resources, if you ever have time for such a large undertaking, I’d love to see it.

I could maybe try to combine the evil tower theme with a Norse influence. As for the town, I did a miniseries on Ark a long time ago called Colonization, where I'd take an area of the map and make a small village there. I could definitely do that again for Conan, especially with a Viking theme to start with

i really really live this build, great work!😊 I also have a question, I want to build something in map square G11 on the normal map, but I’m not exactly sure what to do there, since there is so much space. Have you done a build around that area? :)

Glad you like it! I think I went to G11 when I was attempting one of my first Siptah builds, but that entire area surrounding the central tower is fairly non-descript. Might be an okay place for a castle or something, but it doesn't really have an interesting landscape unfortunately

Very light and airy inside. Probably unhistorically so, but who cares? You're right that animal hides on the walls and floors would add a nice touch. What's not so well known is that the Vikings traded extensively with Constantinople via river routes through Russia to the Black Sea. Therefore Persian rugs and other bits of mideast and eastern decor would not have been completely out of place. Outside, I like the basic shape but I'm not so enamored of the triangular roof decorations. Kinda destroys the purity of the design for me personally. Conan Exiles could really use a set of gargoyles, dragon roof corners and gable boards, weather vanes and other appropriate roof decor pieces to finish off various ethnic architectures. I believe, though, that if you search the mods you might find a build set especially for Viking structures. You've mentioned Northern Timber and that's a good set.

Glad you enjoyed the build! I've seen the Nordheimer pieces a few times, and I know Northern Timber is supposed to be really good for the Viking style too. I'll have to give them a more in-depth try

@@Eradicati0nn i strongly reccomend northern timber it adds things like bossonian pieces which fit with nearly everything internally, lots of nice varnished wood pieces not just the rustic norse styles
