hes very clearly classy. some people just assume someone whose into comedy cant be classy. which is untrue. the guy is a harvard grad. during lettermans final episode (his episode aired same time) he asked his audience during the opening monologue to change channels. and go watch letterman. as television would not see a talent like that ever again. the guy is the definition of class. hes uber rich and never brings it up. acts poor and broke. rubs his wealth in noones face. is able to laugh at himself. hes a very rare ego less talent.

I hold this episode so closely to my heart. I watched it when it first aired (march 2006) when i was doing a layover in Germany for a school trip. I had major jet-lag and I was the only one of my classmates still awake, and so I turned on the tv and put the only english speaking show that was running at 1-2am... it was this episode. Instantly hooked and a huge fan since then. 17 years later i had to rewatch this. I love that it still made me laugh as hard as I did that night.

English is taught in the 3rd grade in finland. It's mandatory and you have to pass it or you will have to repeat 3rd grade again. And english classes go up to 9th grade so you have to pass english 7 times.. So it's safe to say that yes finnish people can speak english fluently.

If it were anyone else but Conan, she might have told him to take them off. But you don't notice things like that when a late night show host from USA randomly shows up at your door. And it wasn't just Conan. There was a crew with him. They were on a schedule. I like to think they would have left their shoes if they weren't so busy. Besides, is wearing shoes inside the house really that common in USA? Isn't it a phenomenon of areas with mostly dry, hot weather? Texas maybe? California?

Thank you for sharing this! I enjoyed it very much. I think Conan is a comedic genius! It is very hard to find long versions of his shows, so I was estastic to see this full episode. Conan was given the Tonight Show when Jay Leno retired.. Conan went on and everyone loved him.. Jay came back out of retirement and kicked Conan out.. Jay retired again and then brought on Fallon who is a big drink of water...One more time, NBC is so stupid..

Conan is a genius, but not as mainstream as Leno. NBC is just thinking of dollars, not quality. The same goes with everything nowadays.

@@dentistlinguist6569 The only reason Conan took over was because Jay retired, but he needed time to grow to be as mainstream as Leno. Leno's had a bit of a time advantage and Conan was comparatively fresh. That would have happened had Leno not decided that retirement was boring and he wanted another show, instead of enjoying his fortune in LA with his 100 cars and his garage.

I also don't think Conan would've come back to NBC a second time even if they'd asked him to, the man has dignity. In the end Conan got to invent his own show with creative freedom which went on for many years, going down as one of the greatest late night show hosts in history; meanwhile the Tonight Show means nothing nowadays, it's just another bland late night show in the bunch, nothing special about it.

Finish saunas are awesome. It really does feel good to dip into the cold water like that after a hot sauna. No one gives a shit if you wear a bathing suit, but honestly you feel more weird being the only person not naked because it isn't a big deal to anyone.

I spent two summers in Finland (Helsinki). Travelled to Lapland for a 10 days hike, This is a wonderful country and people are awesome. Finish sauna is outstanding. I still remember my time there. Highly recommended to visit , especially for summer solstice celebrations and later for northern lights in September.
