I got to meet him too! He's a great guy, and a great showman. He came out into the crowd and sat on my mom's lap while playing a solo. She loved it! Pookie was really nice and talked to me awhile also. No one should pass up the opportunity to see them. They're a great band and a lot of fun.

You have to be kidding. He is not even an average at home player. Your taste is all in your mouth. And what the Hell is a North side legendary blues club? Is that part of the humor here? As for his place in late night television.....he was a better writer than he is on camera. Some of the comments about that are spot on: Corden isn’t funny, Kimmel is funny at times, Fallon must have nude pictures of someone, Colbert is funny, Team Coco.....whatever. Letterman was very funny. Copied all the time.

Lil Ed is a great bluesman and probably the best slide player around today. His uncle JB Hutto was one of the original true Masters of Chicago blues and the slide guitar, and Ed, is a very worthy successor. I’ve seen him four times in small clubs in Florida and he is a true gentleman. Over the years I’ve hung out with a lot of the old Chicago bluesmen who are no longer with us. Most were Great guys. So willing to talk in the club in between sets. And I mean masters, like Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Magic Slim, Jimmy Johnson, and many others, as well as Ed. Great guys.

From "Backwards Blues": "I got way too much money, and I'm not very far from home/ (repeat)/ sometimes I wonder, would a great big truck hold all my clothes...." lyrics as reimagined by Bob Brozman, but probably applies to Conan O'Brien as well.
