Bill was an extremely underrated actor, it's a shame that he didn't get more large roles. The roles that he did have, he was great in. So tragic to lose him at only 61.

Not everybody needs to be the leading man/woman. Sometimes, you just need an amazing support character. I mean, we all LOVE Andy right? Bill was great because he was one of the best support actors. I wouldn't have it any other way. Game over, man. Game over. =(

Bill paxton came to a restaurant I was working at while filming a movie in Atlanta, four times in one week... He was lovely, hilarious, and remembered everyone's names who worked there. Whenever anyone dies people will always remark about how nice or decent or fun they were to work with. But there was something different about people weighing in on Bill Paxton. Everyone remarked at how different he was from most actors in that he was not at all jaded or blunted by years in the industry. He wasn’t cynical or self involved. He was genuinely excited about filmmaking and brought that joy with him to sets and made everyone else feel better about what they were doing. Also, a genuinely nice guy, as one would expect.
