I wish they would add the sand beasts to the storm like they were supposed too
@adammyers34532 ай бұрын
Eh, that would actually be terrible. Maybe as an event, similar to the Jhebbal Sag event, that could work. Full on sandbeasts would kill the game.

@TheRicardobtc2 ай бұрын
Maybe once you reached level 50 or 60 they could start spawning, since you can pretty much ignore the storm at that point without a mask. At lower level and equipment, those things are no joke, especially if you add a DoT effect preventing you from healing.
@melaniesuzanne69652 ай бұрын
If you're able to use mods, there's one that does add the sandbeasts and bats to the storm. The only problem is they'll sometimes spawn inside buildings.

Great video that explains the story of that land for those who never read the stones. I've always read them and i especially liked the witch queen ones. I love her voice, there is good voice acting, it's a shame that there is not more dialogues in that game. That's something i would have loved to have, there is stuff for a good RPG in that conan universe. And there is some really intriguing stones like the one that you find on the top of the bat tower. You learn that the Giant kings have voyaged through space for a long time before reaching that planet. That would be great to make a video explaining how those aliens with 4 arms as we see them in statues have become the giant kings who are some croosbreed with humans maybe to adapt to this world. An old very advanced technology that has been lost for long and degenerated creatures, the giant kings unable to master it and taking this for magic. I like to imagine the story form the bits and pieces we can find in that exiled lands.
@Eradicati0nn2 ай бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! The Witch Queen's VA is really good, I do wish there was more VA in general, but it's nice to see that NPCs like Kurak, Mek, Jhebbal Sag and the upcoming companions have/will have voice acting, Funcom always get some really good voice actors for the roles. I'm not sure there's enough lore about the Giant Kings to say too much about the 4 armed creatures, but it might just require some more research, I admittedly haven't looked super hard into the topic. I always assumed they were either ancestors or gods, ancestors possibly more likely as the Giant Kings are devoted to Set, but I'll see what I can find

I love Owen you do these lower dives. Question though where did the voice logs from the witch Queen and the priest King come from and can they be found in game
@Eradicati0nn2 ай бұрын
The voice logs for the Witch Queen are from the Lemurian lorestones, and the voice from Klael the Warmaker is from his NPC in the Unnamed City. They can be found in game, but I downloaded the Witch Queen voice files from the Conan wiki, as they don't have any of the ambient background noise
