I was born with ADHD and raised by a single mom with ADHD. We moved around a lot when I was a kid. As a teen, we moved to an apartment in a city with lots of crime and violence. We were at poverty level at the time. One of my best friends was born with autism and has had social anxiety since he was a teen. He was raised by middle-class parents in the same house in the same middle-class area. He is consistently blown away by my humor because no one in his world acts as crazy as I do. His world is calm and orderly and quiet. Meanwhile, my life and the worlds I occupy have always been full of noise and chaos.

Edited for spelling: Gourly's voice sounds so youthful (mid-20s), that I'd never guess his real age just by listening to it! By transitioning between only hearing his voice on audio and then suddenly seeing Gourly on video, I'm experiencing a disconnect between his face and his voice. It's similar to watching the interview of a cartoon voice-actor and then watching the actual cartoon show featuring their voice work. It can take a minute for your brain to suspend disbelief and re-enter the illusion that the voice is coming from the cartoon. Anywhoo, I think you're all doing an awesome job! I feel I've absorbed half of a comedy 101 course just by listening to your podcast and others like it while slogging through boring work days that don't require much brain bandwidth to complete. I'd give it 5 stars but I don't have an Apple account; my preferred listening platform is the Google podcast app which currently doesn't appear to have a rating system.
