The chemistry between Conan and Aubrey is pure gold. This is how you interview Aubrey Plaza, you have to roll with the awkwardness and try not to control the conversation. Just go with the flow.
@thesprawl23612 жыл бұрын
Is she actually that interesting? I keep watching her in interviews and every time there's this awkward atmosphere that people interpret as her being mysterious and enigmatic. But it could just be that she's not that interesting. Either that or she's just intensely private and doesn't want to let in anyone but those closest to her. I'm leaning more in that direction but at the same time I've yet to see her say or do anything interesting outside of her acting performances.

The other one with the "I have to audition to play me? oh no I hope i get the part/s " was HILARIOUS, JUST APRIL
@carpediemearth4 ай бұрын
She's literally nothing like April in real life 😂 Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt both said that. Her breaking character in the Parks and Rec bloopers alone shows you that, as do videos where she's not doing dry humored-comedic bits. Watch her on Conan's podcast. Even in funny videos like her Hot Ones episode and the Vanity Fair lie detector test where's she's having fun with a friend, it's obvious she's not like April. Aubrey helped create April and her role in the story, and she based much of the character's personality on her younger sister. Here's what Chris Pratt said years ago in a panel with Amy: "Aubrey's 'on' a lot of the time. She's like Andy Kaufman or something. She would meet the president and take it as an opportunity to do a bit. For the lucky few people who get a chance to know her, she's totally different than April ... she's very caring and sweet, and a good listener, and would be there for her friends in a heartbeat." And Amy Poehler replied "Yes, hear hear."
