while i was being tortured in an Amerikkkan jail last year (for such fictional crimes as "insults which could cause a fight"!), i wrote a script that is just a 2-hour Dinner Date (FIRST date) tween Aubrey and.....SUPERMAN (because they're polar opposites) and it was a blast writing in her voice, all the crazy questions she'd ask him! (Supes is super-EARNEST and naive.) I always wanted to script a FAKE Late Nite Talk Show with the gimmick that ALL THE DRINKS BACKSTAGE ARE SPIKED with "Truth Serum"....so all these big stars SAY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SHIT once on camera, but they are roofied etc and don't realize it! Now that you posted your comment, I think AUBREY should be the host of that talk show! Getting every A-list star to say SHOCKINGLY "honest" things, like insulting their directors or films they were in or claiming they had sex with all these other celebs, etc! I'll have to go back to WRITERS, er, Rikers Island to finish that one while they cook me three hot meals a day and do my laundry for me!

I think 80% of why Audrey is so funny is because she is willing to let other people sink into the awkwardness about the zanny, dark thing shes just said. Aubrey's awesome. She's _kinda_ hot, but somehow that makes her really hot. She's _kinda_ funny, but somehow she's hilarious. It's like she's only barely above average in every way, but she packages it with such awkward self-awareness, randomness, and deadpan satire that it elevates her and makes her truly unforgettable, and strangely relatable. I bet she has a high IQ or something. She seems like someone whose mind is always churning. I hope she never loses her quirkiness, because its magnetic. Great entertainer.

@@meganthackery1609 I have a dark humour and that's my favourite humour. Aubrey's insults are just insults and they are not funny. It's just lazy. That's not satire. There are some great English, Scottish and Irish comedians who do what she is trying to do but they are actually funny. And I completely disagree with you on another point - Aubrey's jokes are actually not subtle at all. She is making it very obvious how it is meant to be funny, while it isn't. No way you have ever laughed out loud at her 'jokes'. She was good on Parks and Rec cause the writing is amazing.

I personally detest male comics that make constant jokes about hating their wife and children- does that make them 'not funny'? Or does that make them 'not MY kind of funny'?
