This band could’ve been HUGE like how bands like Foo Fighters, Matchbox Twenty or Everclear if Jenkins hadn’t gotten greedy and listened to the scam executives at Elektra records. Jenkins even formed a Incorporation called Third Eye Blind Inc and made sure Kevin Cadogan didn’t get any of the royalties and shares of the albums he co-wrote and co-produced instead he fired Cadogan and kicked his ass to the curb. Jenkins at one point I had the most upmost respect for as a musician but when I did my research to what he did to Cadogan in Nov 2000 and Salazar in 2009 or 2010 he deserves to shamed

The dude is a huge scumbag. 3EB now is currently a shitty cover band and a shell of what they were. Kevin and Arion were and are the heart and soul of that band. It’s really a bitter sweet thing listening to 3EB because the original music is so amazing but it’s also sad to think about what happened.

Sounds like the producer for this album, Eric Valentine, was the one who made them so successful. He went on to produce hit after hit, but 3EB was unable to keep it going after he left. Seems like he was the real talent.

For some reason it seems Stephan never ages but every time Kevin put sunglasses on around this era he looked 45 rather than 25. He’s not wearing them here though and he looks 16, even though he was only 25 here. I’m so confused

Yeah I think Kevin is now mid 50’s approaching 60’s yeah he’s getting old but watching him play that album from start to finish in his NEW band XEB with 2 other founding members of Third Eye Blind Tony Fredianelli and Arion Salazar it’s like he’s a God on guitar playing those great songs from the debut album
