Long story short ! I watched an Airman from the old Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois, demonstrate his skills with a Butterfly Knife aka Balisong, in the Army Surplus store in Champaign, Illinois, with the encouragement of his buddy, another Airman ! As he began to flip and spin the very sharp knife, he failed to notice that the blade was turned the wrong direction ! And each time the blade struck his fingers, it sliced them ! After several times he had pretty much turned the backs of his fingers into hamburger, with blood dripping into a puddle on the top of the glass display case ! The clerk gave him a roll of paper towels, but as much as he tried to stop the bleeding, the towels quickly became soaked ! I'm guessing at best, he ended up at sick bay, or the local hospital ? My self and my buddy, both former Marines just looked at one another in disbelief, shook our heads and left ! Those things are nothing to play with ! R.I.P. T.O. ♥️🥀♥️ SEMPER FI
