Oh man the energy was crazy there. I was there with my brother and a friend of mine. We are the young (at the time) bearded guys in the audience in the bottom left area. Also, Christmas was originally two Pagan holidays known as Yule (Germanic) and Saturnalia (Roman) which were rebranded by the church to encourage non-Christians to become Christians. Furthermore, a celebration of Jesuses birth on December 25 (Christmas day) is arbitrary at best, established by Emperor Constantine nearly 330 years after Jesus’s birth. The is no written record of his actual birthdate. So, “calling someone out” for saying something that happens to be a lot more accurate and inclusive to those of all cultures is not something to be proud of.

I grew up idolizing Letterman and putting him on a pedestal while hating Leno and his boring unfunny show only to later realize Conan was way better than all of these talk show hosts. Conan is modest but he broke way more grounds with his show than any of these other talk show hosts did. What's also unique is Conan has honestly gotten better with age too. Dude creates chemistry with everyone quickly and is funny AF on the road or on his podcast and of coarse in a studio. Incredibly gifted person. I still love Letterman but he's not #1 to me anymore. Thank you Conan!!

Maybe now Letterman does with his new life and new show but Letterman made a career out of making guests feel uncomfortable. I agree on Ferguson, that dude was so good with women. Kimmel is more of a likeable guy but he and his show really were never that funny or original. Kimmel hopefully will be less political now that Trump is gone.
