To people confused about the focal length of the concave mirror, I did some research. It's just a convention and either way can work - you just need to be consistent, whichever you choose. From my research, the most used convention is the focal length of a concave mirror is POSITIVE. (same convention with other converging devices such as convex lens) Which I would stick to, since this video went with that convention, and changing things over will cause unnecessary confusion.

Hey great video but I noticed a mistake at 13:48. If you have an object placed between f and C, the reflected image will be located beyond C (as in di > 2f). I checked my math with the sample of f=8cm, do = 12 cm, ho = 4 cm. In this situation, I found that C =16 cm and the calculated di = 24 cm so therefore di > C.

5:35 I did this problem but with transposing the 1/24 to the left. and that would be 1/8-1/24=1/di... now 1/8-1/24 is equals to 1/12 so 1/di=1/12 and we just get the reciprocal... di=12 same thing I did with 19:06
