A Fannypack is a good option too, or something like a small Camelbak MULE Pack that weighs next to nothing.

I have something similar that I use when running. I agree get one with a magnet that help holds the gun in. Other then that those type of belly belts work great for concealed carry.

I did the belly band with a VanGuard trigger guard, tether looped around the belly band. I wouldn’t shove a condition zero gun into a piece of elastic without a trigger guard.

I belly band carry when jogging. I tried fanny pack and that works for hiking but it flops around too much when jogging for me. With the band, I’ll carry my Glock 26 w/ 12 round mag and a can of OC spray. I’ve had to spray an aggressive dog several times where shooting it wouldn’t have been legal. Little squirt of the spicy spray to the beak is a real good attitude adjustment.

These “super easy conceal carry” holster do conceal well but trying to draw the gun if you had to use it is real slow. On James Yeagers channel there is a video of a guy using a “Smart Carry” brand holster in conjunction with a kydex holster with a “ulti clip”. I bought all the parts, put the kydex holster in the smart carry holster… fantastic concealment! Crappy draw. It’s worth it.

fanny packs are IN homies. I just run my cc belt and wear an oversized shirt. stylish and has good air flow. that belly band looks uncomfy/sweaty

I've tried the belly band thing about 5 months ago and it's not that great. Does it work? Yes. Just not what I need for running the streets/trails.

AR500 Armor has a nice little minimalist plate carrier called the Freeman. You could use the molle to mount a STRIKE platform to which you could use a Blackhawk holster. You get the benefit of exercise weights (the Level III armor), a secure way to wear your pistol that won't shift on you while running, a platform to wear a camelbak, and a small IFAK.

Alien Gear has a belly band compatible with their OWB Shape Shift. Super comfortable and secure with a smooth draw since you can personalize the retention. I usually wear it at my 4 o'clock position to minimize printing and maximize comfort.

S&W M&P Bodyguard .380. Super compact and light, holds 7 with 1 in the chamber. Pretty good carry piece and very concealable. Thanks for the video Randall, awesome as always.

I'm hesitant about this sort of carry because of how much I sweat, the gun is going to be drenched in sweat with all of its salts and oils and stuff. Even with a properly oiled gun it feels wrong to basically have it wet all the time. I tried a shirt underneath the holster, I sweat right though that. I tried a folded washcloth between me and the weapon, I sweat right through that too. Short of getting a stainless steel weapon or putting it in a plastic baggie before holstering it I haven't been able to figure a way to keep the damned thing dry.

Don't worry about keeping it dry. I've carried my LCP II for over 500 wet and sweaty miles. The slide started showing a little rust after about 400 miles. I cleaned it and it's fine. I wanted to see how long it would take to start rusting. Now I wipe it down once a week. Easy as that. If the holster/gun is against my skin then I usually put a small piece of cloth between it and myself. Only applies to warm weather running. Not to keep it dry... just so it isn't directly on skin.

I've carried a Lcp daily for 4 or 5 years. Pocket, ankle, and iwb. Slide rust? Yep. Extra fine steel wool and gun oil. Leave a coat of oil. Carry guns will show wear.

@@charlessalmond7076 - my Colt Commander has developed rust a number of times, in a startlingly short period of time. Slide, hammer and barrel are the usual weak points for corrosion. That's just from normal everyday carry, not the sweat soaking that exercising would give it. Wear? You bet. I've been carrying it for over 40 years, it's scratched, dinged, worn and battered as heck.

My friend gave me something similar because it was too big for him. I'll use if I ever start bike riding again. I have to start with walking. I've been limiting myself physically for the last two months because I fractured my tibial plateau, in an accident. Plus if I run, I'll get slapped in the face by one of my chesticles courtesy of my glandular disorder, that and my knees are dogshit thanks the USN's knee knockers. Snack, crackle and pop is the noise my knees make when walking upstairs. Good vid.

On nearly all runs (except zone 4/5 stuff)I carry a Ruger LCP II (.380) in a IWB holster on my running belt(amphipod airstretch). It also holds a small pouch for my phone and ID's. Works pretty sweet. Looks like I'm just carrying some running stuff under my shirt. I'm not a fatty and you can hardly see anything. Put in just over 500 miles with it so far.
