SO with the new law how does it effect carrying a gun in a car? been told different things and that needs cleared up. was told this "The Ohio revised code has NOT changed. The code refers to carrying a weapon in a motor vehicle Transportation of a weapon in a motor vehicle is NO different. Felony 4. With mandatory jail time. "

You can carry a loaded handgun in a motor vehicle without a permit as long as it is concealed.

Each chamber's version passed. One of the chambers has to vote on the other's and then it goes before the governor for signature.
