I actually like a product you introduced me to: 1 minute face perfector by Catrice. Maybelline has the same thing and more readily available. It blurs my freckles and I use it almost everyday. Thnx. Great video.

The minimum that I wear in a hurry is brow pencil, mascara, blush shadow at my brow, and lip balm. I've just started wearing makeup after not using makeup for 25 years. I'm 68yo and am using skincare now too. It helps me feel better about myself. One beauty product I must use is brow pencil. TFS

Happy Birthday Laura and to all those in the US Happy 4th July. My one thing I don't want to be without is my retinoid. It has made such a difference to my post menopausal skin. Although I love the azelaic acid for my rosacea, the most dramatic change in the texture, tone and firmness is due to retinoids. I switch between tretinoin and retinaldehyde depending on how my skin and rosacea are, but both give me results. Best wishes.

On minimal days, brows, concealer (also covers a couple broken capillaries and an age spot) and some sort of lip covering. If I'm being very generous then I add some cheek color of some sort. If I had to pick only one, then the brows are a must. At 72, they are nearly non-existent.

I take a make-up brush and hold it flat behind my eyelashes at the base, behind my lashes them start applying mascara. I get all those little hairs that like to hide. It makes my lashes look their best when I apply it that way and it keeps it off my face! On a minimal day, I wear exactly the same brow gel, mascara, lip and of course powder SPF on my face and neck. I have to wear it!! I love an orange color eye shadow, it sounds gaudy but it's not, I use a matte shade to bring the green out in my eyes. OMGOSH! I SHAVE MY FACE TOO! I'VE BEEN DOING IT SINCE I WAS 20. I DID IT ONCE AND GOT HOOKED! I'M SO HAPPY YOU SAID THAT!✌ HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!!!🌷🌺🌼🌹👍

Something I did for myself today: I have this sea buckthorn hydrating serum by Sibu and after my shower I put some on my elbows, knees and hands after I used a cellulite massage roller on my thighs. It was so nice! I think I'll start doing this routine occasionally. Cheers Laura! 🍹💚💕🎉🎂😊

I love doing my own “minimal” makeup routines most days since it makes me feel my best and ready to take on my day! What I am loving is my tinted sunscreen. I currently am using the Colorscience tinted sunscreen SPF 50. It isn’t heavy and shiny and just evens things out nicely without being makeup-y. My blush works great with it too. Laura, have you tried the new Covergirl Ageless wrinkle blurring powder? I love it for setting makeup especially under the eyes but it’s great over my spf as a powder foundation also, just “melt” it in with a setting spray. I’m loving it, and it’s affordable! I have the Revlon blurring powder too but prefer the Covergirl over that one.
