Former Detention officer here. The methods above is often times the methods used by inmates to smuggle contraband from pod to pod. Our detention center often had razor night every Tuesday and Thursday, and they would often replace the blades in the disposable razors with the silver foil from chip bags when officer collect the razors. They then would hide them in Band-Aids, in the spine of books, in a makeshift slot in their slides, or hide them in between the teeth and cheeks of their mouths. I remember we had a male with dreads come in to our intake and he managed to smuggle several grams of heroin, several crystals of meth, several matches with striker paper, and several Percocet pills in several of his dreads. he was caught trying to remove the dreads with them in it and "kite" it to another dorm across the hall in our gang dorms. weapons were always a common find on people, lets not forget the fabled prison wallet, we found a whole glock 17 slide and barrel in one girls wallet inside a condom with several rounds of ammunition. Needless to say the doctor at the hospital was rather surprised the amount of "items" she had to pull out of a human orifice.

I think my one brother routinely hides escape tools on his person. I know he had at one time several bobby pins concealed, as well as paper clips and probably a razor blade or two. I never knew where he was going to pull them out from, his belt-loops, cuffs, within his pony-tail (he can't do that one anymore, since he shaves his head now). He was pretty good at hiding stuff on himself. I'll have to recommend this video to him.

@Anonymous Anonymous or when going in if you are lucky enough to get the settle your affairs option, i have known people to pot something in a bag (the people i knew put drugs like cocaine, meth, heroin, fentanyl just all around nasty shit) in a finger of a glove then they would tear the glove finger just above the package put a little super glue on the top to keep it sealed then do another layer of that. Repeat 6 to 40 times then you coat each package in oil and you go to town swallowing these little fingers of death. Then on your way to prison, you silently pray to what or whoever god you believe in hoping that one or more don't break on the way down. Finally it is just a waiting game of how long before you get to a cell to shit out the drugs or whatever you decided was important enough to swallow and shit out. I miss some of these people everyday, each of them claiming they are a product of their environment and it breaks my heart (whats left of it anyway) when i hear about some kid killing some other kid over drugs, girls, money, or just trying to be a gangster. But never mind that now i guess you know how to get something in somewhere your not supposed to have it.

Many a time and oft Have you climb'd up to walls and battlements, To towers and windows, yea, to chimney-tops, Your infants in your arms, and there have sat The livelong day, with patient expectation, To see great Pompey pass the streets of Rome: And when you saw his chariot but appear, Have you not made an universal shout, That Tiber trembled underneath her banks, To hear the replication of your sounds Made in her concave shores? And do you now put on your best attire? And do you now cull out a holiday? And do you now strew flowers in his way That comes in triumph over Pompey's blood? Be gone! That much blood on a bandage may actually prompt a more organised captor to have a medic change your dressing, you want it to look gross enough not to want them to search it but also they won't feel the need for a medic to change it, bleedthrough of maybe a penny size dot of blood, maybe in a line.

4:05 - (disclaimer - I do not have any personal experience in throat cutting) Sorry guys - but cutting someone's throat is not as easy as it's portrayed in the movies. There is a lot of protection, thick skin, muscle, ligaments, and the arteries themselves are deep in the sides of all of this. Also, no normal person would have the grip strength necessary to hold such a small cutting edge with the force needed to do this. At most, that little razor would give them a nasty cut, and make your captor REALLY upset with you. I was actually waiting for you to put the xacto blade into a slot in the wood rod to make a stabby-slashy weapon. Then you could go for the kidneys, or stab through an eye into the brain.
