Catholic, Orthodox and all Apostolic branches of Christianity do not believe mere belief is enough to merit Salvation! This is referring to minute 8 of this video. If we mortally sin, and die in that state, we go to Hell! It’s important to represent our respective faiths correctly. I find it sad the wise teacher here has assumed Protestantism = Christianity.

Belief that there were religions among humanity other than Islam is an aspect of disbelief. Islam differs, because in Islam, anyone who believes in vicarious atonement or prays to entities for intercession leave Islam.

So, you didn't watch the videos, right? If you did you'd know that intercession is NOT praying TO intermediaries but rather praying TO Allah THROUGH intermediaries. Meaning you ask intermediaries to pray in your favour.
