I wish people understood how criminally underrated this album is, even being 11 years old IMO it still holds up as outstanding today. The way it’s mixed, the dynamics, the tones, the whole album show cases circa’s sound perfectly. It’s in my top three albums for sure.

The lyrics never resonated with me so deeply...till the day I lost my daughter the way I did. Now this song matters to me more than it did before I could appreciate what it meant.

You're so careless, careless How did you get so ungrateful? You treat me like I'm a disease, Oh, and it's been killing me Chances are, you never even cared at all I'm sure that you had your reasons But I'll never get to hear the truth Disguised in all your alibis It's a tradition, practiced, every time you say goodbye I've tried so hard to be what you needed Your imaginary enemy I've tried for so long to make you believe it That I am not the enemy Slipshod cavalier, I can't stand to see those things that You have taken for granted Thrown away everything you've been handed Too much all at once that's how you got so ungrateful All you saw was the burden Standing beside all your blessed truths Disguised in all your alibis It's a tradition, practiced, every time you say goodbye I've tried so hard to be what you needed Your imaginary enemy I've tried for so long to make you believe it That I am not the enemy Imaginary enemy Oh, oh, oh, oh Alright, yeah I've tried so hard to be what you needed Your imaginary enemy I've tried for so long to make you believe it That I am not the enemy Imaginary enemy

I love anthony greens voice, but as a vocal coach / vocalist , its obvious that he is straining his voice, and this strain has made his voice more raspy through out the years and less boy like. I think he should focus less on singing high notes and more whats comfortable for him, songs like this literally are destroying his voice. He has a beautiful natural High Legerio tenor voice, want it to stay beautfiul

Amazing song, amazing music, but I don't see why everyone is going crazy about the solo, it's not that impressive. As a guitar player I could learn that in ten minutes or less.
@amirulazeem87648 жыл бұрын
yeah i agree that the solo isn't that difficult. But that doesn't make it unimpressive. personally, i find that the melody of the solo quite addictive

I watched a few of these Transmission videos and I couldn't tell if his voice was tuned or not, but it's pretty obvious that it is in this one. Especially the chorus. Nick's backing vocals are very processed for sure. But hey, still a great singer, still an awesome band. Lots of artists use MORE auto tune live and still sound like fucking crap.
