I’ve been at it for over 3 months between recording my own gameplay from God of war 2018 to God of war Ragnarök, planning, editing, and figuring out the way I wanted to convey this story. This was my first gaming edit and it definitely came with its own learning curves.
“Pretend to be everything you are not, teacher, husband, father, you cannot change.” “To grieve deeply is to have loved fully.”
There were so many quotes like this that hit me at one of the worst points of my life. The last section of this video is part of the reason it took me so long to complete. When I would get to this section, I would freeze because I was directly speaking to myself and what I was and have been dealing with. Emotionally, I am definitely attached to this project and the concept of grief that comes with it.
The video itself is quite long even though I did my best to keep it short but I felt it would not do the story justice to cut it any shorter. I hope you enjoy!

After GoW4 and Ragnarok, I will always love Kratos' yell as he cuts down the tree at 4:35. Over the two games you realize how significant that cutting the one tree is to his character.

This was absolutely outstanding the amount of time and passion you put into this project can be felt throughout it. I really loved how edited him especially the part where you show who he truly is that was brilliantly edited. I understand why that last sequence took so long because its absolutely perfect you feel the love he has for his boy even though he has a hard time showing it. Your selection of qoutes combined with the scenes were incredible especially and this was my favourite part when you had the qoute we choose what God's to be as they fight Odin that gave me goosebumps I loved that moment so much and when he and bear form of his son stood together.
