In short user turns on new computer, connects 2 internet, enters his azure ad credentials and boom. All apps and settings are pushed to the device (this is done by intune). Autopilot eliminates windows initial tasks like language, keyboard mapping which can be confusing for some people and can be time consuming for help desk guys. If you have like 1000s client computers this thing combined with intune is a life saver.

If I have a user that isnt located within the Office(DOmain LAN) but has a company laptop that was joined to the on-prem domain when the laptop was setup in the past. If I migrate my infrastructure to Azure AD how am i able to get the aformentioned user endpoint to join the new AZURE AD domain with out making the user go to an office lan.

Our company is discussing intune projects and we need all domain joined devices to be intune managed with autopilot enabled, all new devices will be joined in Azure AD. Could you please suggest an enrollment method for on-premises domain join devices (300 devices)?
