Am I the only one to notice they are completely out of tune at the end of the Kyrie? (actually, way before the end) They finish at least 1 tone under the start. It is clear from the beginning that several singers are unsure of their part and their vocal placement (which probably explains the loss of tone accuracy). The Gloria is even worse, and even lower at the end. Too bad because I really love this Ensemble, and particularly their epic and well-know recording of this piece (which is perfect). Unfortunately, on this occasion it is a miss. At least, as an amateur singer (and with many misses on my side!), it is somewhat reassuring to see that even great professionals can have their bad day from time to time :) Their magnificent and much better recording here (with animated score!) : kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5ioh2doh7CZbKc

something I find amazing with the corsican style of singing is that they can be very out of tune and rythm and it'll sound amazing and perfect. Not even wrong. I think it's also true in this recording. Nothing is really shocking or annoying to the ear
