Thanks for this vid! I was running creature finder, S+ & awesome spyglass. But some interesting ones here I tested and like very much. This game is very grindy. Been playing this game for roughly 3 months. As a working dad of 46 I found myself constantly farming, breeding and flying around when I played. Another mod i would recommend is the " Awesome Teleporter " mod It saves lots of time travelling, you have a remote to go to any Teleporter you have placed on the map if you die and go up to a Teleporter and you had a remote in your inventory you can get all your stuff back, Its fast and can carry any creature in the bubble with you as long as its in your tribe Makes getting any sort of wyvern or magmasaur egg a piece of cake with some timing.

Upgrade station is really good, I think recourses for high level upgrades just be as expensive as blueprints, to make it fair. But you know if your playing an “easy mode” I like it. I use it anyway because I like it but I do wish it was a lot harder though.

I found the awesome spyglass early in my game. Its essential if youre a solo player lol. The death recovery mod as well. Gonna try that upgrade mod tho. Not a great fighter, so that will help alot! Most mods I do use alot are build mods. Anything eco created is very good!

We use upgrade station on our non dedicated server because the loot creates do not spawn at all regardless of the map ,so its helpful that way.

Disclaimer: haven't tried out Upgrade station, but... In theory can you upgrade to Ascended, make it into BP, then mindwipe to max crafting, craft that BP, turn new item into BP, craft again and again and again until you get brutal roll?

They still work as far as I know. Probably will need updates for when Ark Survival Ascended comes out though

I understand the grind factor being part of the game like this but sometimes i dont have time to get on with friends and it take SOOOO long to tame stuff and farm for stuff and want to play alone sometimes for a quick drop in drop out. I think this is prob the most frustration part of tweeking your ark server for solo play because you go from it taking hours to farm and everything taking for ever to tame then you get the end of you tweeked the server to much and you get 10000000000000x stone when you hit something with your dino. Does anyone have any recommended server settings so that its not a drag to play the game for quick drop in?

Oddly enough maybe remove all your mods and try placing the mod in a different order iv tried almost every stacking mod and they have all worked so maybe you have a conflicting mod that also messes with stacking.

For a game that's mostly about the Dinos, I fkn hate the Dinos. Mostly. I like the guns, making huge ships and aircraft out of Skiffs, and using Tek. My Tribe literally got the Admins to just give me an Exo-Mek so I'd at least use _something_ instead of trying to fight Rexes on foot with a shotgun. Witch I did, and strangely won alot after a while. But only after many, many lessons in death. I made it a point to get good with Turrets and Cannons. I can hit a moving Trike with a Cannon from 250 floor tiles away consistently now, due to pure stubbornness.

It should work, just beware about mods that have it's own buildings or items. Make sure to drop or destroy them before removing the mod
