@@emailsucks28 Playstation needs to get back to being a Japanese centric brand. We need more people like Kaz Hirai as the face of the company. Sony's become the company of Hermen Hulst, Mark Cerny, and a bunch of western third-person action games. Sony used to put out so many unique games. I have no idea how Hermen Hulst got such a big promotion. Killzone games were okay-good (KZ2 being the best), and the Horizon games are okay-good, but I didn't think Guerrilla were an exceptional studio or anything under his leadership.

It seems like the biggest reason Concord was destined to fail was, Sony didn't do any research into gamer demographics. They didn't know how large their target audience (Live-Service Gamers) was, and didn't know what percentage of them would be willing to both shift to a new game and to pay for the shift. As a result, they drastically overestimated the space their game would be able to carve out for itself.

A 400 million dollar loss on only one game is just beyond belief. This seems like the kind of financial catastrophe that someone might throw themselves out of a window or step in front of a subway train over. Who was telling them that this was going to be the next big flagship PlayStation hit, and why did they believe it? Something about this just doesn't make any sense. Maybe I am just underestimating how much Capitol these people have to throw around, but I would think that with a failure of this scale, heads would be rolling. Apocalypto style. I would love to hear what these stuffed shirts at Sony are actually saying behind closed doors.

@@MMORPGFreaky People will play Starfield even 10 years in the future. By that time no one will remember Stellar Blade. The two games are lightyears away from each other. I have a few mods installed (some of them are recent developments), and after one year of release Starfield is a totally different experience now with these mods. I enjoyed Starfield even after release, but now with these mods, it is getting amazing. Fallout 4 was the same. A few years after release I played the game with mods installed, and it was a fuckin amazing game. You can virtually build up your own game, according to your own taste. Not many other games on the market can beat this. So yeah, Starfield will be here even in 10 years. Stellar Blade and the other craps won't.
