Much respect to you and other concrete drivers out there. I lasted a month and was getting pretty good at it, but Honestly for what you have to deal with doesn't compensate for the little money you make. Much better and cleaner trucking jobs out there. Washing down and not really knowing your schedule day to day is the worst part of the job. And also not knowing if you have to work Saturdays.

At my plant, if the concrete trucks get stuck, the people who ordered the concrete pay the towing bill since we aren't allowed to carry a towing cable anymore. But you are right, they don't give a shit about us, just our concrete.

Doing anything in that area is interesting. I used to prewire and do finish electrical work on new houses in the county all around there and it was crazy getting to them. Them hills and mountains suck.

Readymix Moe, shout out from the West Coast. I like it when they tell you, "I drove my Tractor through there you'll be OK". Sometimes you just have to lockum in and do your best. Nice set of vids! This job isn't for everybody. Happy Holidays!

Keeping it 100 Trucking I've drove both, I was at prime for a min. It's easy but with a moving load it's tricky, but I've never turned one over but I've seen it.

Anyone that has driven over the road and says they are a driver usually get punked. It's a whole new game. What engine you have does not determine how to handle a mixer. You have to understand clutch control and your low gears. Was just on a windmill farms yesterday . Everything was in the mud. Make sure you have hot water. Let the lines drip so they don't freeze, keep your hose in the cab. Love what I do.

Mud? Offroad? That's not mud lol. That's wet grass with a few tracks in it lmao. Mud is driving to an oilfield location, with unmaintained roads, in the middle of no where during North Dakota spring time. If you're not getting stuck then you're not in mud
