another great video guys .them 73mm bricks are a pain to match with the blockwork .i usually put ties in the brick perps and twist one end so the sit nice on the blockwork ,why they dont manufacture blocks to suit 73mm bricks is behond me .😭😭

screeding with a piece of wood is pretty outdated. Using aluminium screeds, bullfloats and a walking trowel is the norm nowadays. Will give a flatter and stronger finish for sure. Its easy, just get levels with your laser and one man screed just once. Finish with bullfloat and later walking trowel.

Wouldn’t it be easier to set a screed timber close to house and use the internal wall to screed off then just take timber out fill screed , cut the L shape out of the wall side at distance you want to set concrete at , it’s
