As far as I know (with Red Head brand anchors) the hole should be 1/4" deeper than the anchor. The tip of the bolt isn't supposed to bottom out. The anchors you are using in this video are much too long for your application. You want to start the nut/washer on the bolt BEFORE you start pounding it in case you mess up the tip. Also, I would have pre-drilled wood with a wood bit, then switching to masonry. Good video work tho! :)

you should only plumb the walls on the ends and chalkline the floor....only way to get wall straight.....cant by useing a4 ft level.......even a slight difference on the level will be 4x greater in 16 ft

Great video, I'd love to do the same setup as your pole barn. Just curious why you didn't set the anchors deeper into the concrete.

Thanks. You are right, I could have gone deeper on some of those anchors. I actually bought them a little too long for the application, but most of them I did go much deeper.

According from International Residential Code, you need put anchors at least 7 inches into concrete with diameter 1/2 in. you should use 10 inches anchors with max 6 feet distance.

Not sure how 7 inches into a 4 inch monolithic concrete slab would work. I am sure that works out well for anchoring exterior walls into stem walls or slabs on footers for traditional stick built homes, but this is post construction for the exterior walls and the concrete slab is only 4 inches thick. No way I am punching holes all the way through it, so I was careful to not go too deep. All of my stick framed walls are interior walls and not supporting any roof structure.

Can somebody tell me how to mount interior wall firmly on tiles floor?

First step is to remove the tile from the area you are building the wall on.

Unless you got a bunch of perfectly straight 2x4s, this is a terrible way to align a wall. Use a laser or a chalk line and a plumb line.I can only imagine how wavy that wall probably is now.
