Curious to know how the zip-tie will hold up to the heat from the condenser (not melt).

The condenser doesn't get hot enough to melt the zip ties so that shouldn't ever be an issue. I'm sure they will become brittle from the weather over time, but that usually takes several years. I'll probably replace them every 5 years or so just in case.

got a 3rd Gen and have been looking at doing this. Was wondering now that you have had it on for a bit, have you had any problems. My concern has always been restricting air flow.

I haven't noticed any negative effects of the guard yet. It's also not super hot yet, so I haven't used the AC much since it's been in.

how has it been with using the ac in the heat? You still recommend it? Im putting a new condenser and installing blendoorusa doors and have been watching your videos for review. thanks. they are great.

the biggest complaint I have regarding my truck is the condenser or lack of airflow over it. I installed spal fans to force air through it just to get the a/c to blow 'normal' I have checked the fluid levels and they are fine. I have replaced the radiator fan clutch. I could not imagine using this product to block the airflow on an already poor dodge design.

Drill holes on the top part that has no holes in it
