CONDITION GREEN -Soundtrain (Japan) 1979 - UNBELIEVABLE MUST SEE PERFORMANCE.

Condition Green were a Japanese Classic Rock band formed in 1971. This performance from 1979 remains the most amazing piece of Live Music Entertainment footage I have ever seen, and I challenge anyone to point me to a more spectacular show. The must see song is Boney Maronie and I have set the chapters to where the REAL action starts.
If the Western Rock fans worldwide had witnessed these performances at the time, Condition Green would have become a more household name and would have appealed to more than just hardcore music fans, but to people who wanted to see real entertainment

They are definitely one of the greatest live bands ever! Condition Green was picked to opening act for Van Halen's second Japan tour in 1979, but Van Halen turned them down at the last minute. This video makes it very clear why.

OMG!! I was good friends with them!! I was there from 79 threw 84, then went back in 86!! Katchan took care of all us girls when the bar got too rowdy! He'd make us go behind the bar!! Katchan even babysat my daughter a few times in 86 when we went back!! I've got tons of pix of them!! Anywhere I can post them?? One year they made me their poster girl for their summer beach concerts they had every year with all the Rock rock n roll bands!!❤❤

@Daniel Gribble. I agree completely. Let's face it, around the same time we had the novelty pyramid from the Scorpions and the Angus Young gimmick walking around on Bon Scott's shoulders. Nothing else really comes to mind. As with so many bands in the 70s, and especially those from lesser appreciated countries like Japan, Social media could have done wonders to their legacy. Nowadays, bands like Mongolias The Hu get to tour the UK due to Social media. Such is life

That seems to be a regular thing with the Marine Corps and this band. I have another Video of Condition Green and someone mentioned the same thing. One things for sure, you would have been entertained AND MORE ;)
