I understand the term "windshield wiper" originates from Northern Britain circa 1460-1480.

I love how it started out as weight conditioning and ended with a bit of flourishing. Flourishing isn't that effective in an actual gigjt/match but it's amazing for exercise, improving fkexibility, and honing your technique. Great video.

For windmill, you are stepping after you've started the swing, is this correct? Total newbcakes here.

My swords have their own movements, I have enough just need learning them I have no more room for more.

I know it is good for training both hands same way but it is not so useful for longsword. For exaple doing this circles with both hands improves your ability to perform fast durchwechseln while doing it with one hand is just conditioning.
@jamesdurfee43795 жыл бұрын
So, you could do it with both one hand, and two hands, to get both aspects.

@the0mighty0burrito6 жыл бұрын
Edward I would imagine so. Most shortswords will probably be lighter, but exercise is always good.

Attach a little bit of weight to your sword when conditioning. You will hate me later.
@adamplentl55885 жыл бұрын
Also probably not a good idea for your tendons and ligaments. Would also fuck with the balance of the weapon and risk introducing bad habits into your swordplay due to compensating for the added unnecessary weight. Practicing with a realistically weighted sword is probably much more advisable.
