Thank you for sharing. I've been hearing how more resources are needed for our military. I wonder if the money that is currently allocated is being used efficiently? Can we cut waste? Can we organize how we spend better? May not be the entire answer, but might help. Agree it's important for our country to maintain credibility. Success lies in constancy of purpose - I really hope our current struggles will not become onerously drawn out, not just for us, but for the world.

She is one of the ones supporting Trump’s candidacy, during the civil rights movement her father was in cohorts with the White Citizens League, and felt that marching for your freedom, rights was counterproductive, only through neoconservative policies that African Americans would have equality and justice. There are too many of these individuals who would prefer for segregation to thrive in America again. You have to solve the problems at home before taking on other countries problems.

If a government's main duty is the well-being of the majority of its citizens, then the greatest threat to the United States may lie in how it is governed. Regardless of who is elected president, millions of Americans continue to face long-standing challenges: economic inequality, persistent inflation, stagnant wages, soaring healthcare costs, a student loan debt crisis nearing $1.7 trillion, and an education system burdened by increasingly unaffordable tuition. Additionally, issues such as inadequate public transportation, racial inequality, mass incarceration, militarized policing, deteriorating infrastructure, unaffordable housing, homelessness, the opioid epidemic, and rampant gun violence remain critical concerns for many. Meanwhile, the Godless Chinese government deprives its citizens of the opportunity to experience any of the "benefits" of these challenges that U.S. citizens endure. Although the United States is the world's wealthiest nation with unmatched military power, it struggles to address these systemic problems. For many, the normalization of such inequality and hardship has become an accepted part of daily life, raising urgent questions about the government's role in fostering a more equitable and just society. When a government allows these persistent issues to remain unresolved, it risks losing legitimacy and trust in the eyes of its citizens. In the U.S., waiters may chase you if you don’t tip, while in China, they might chase you to return a tip. If a country cannot take care of its citizens, its leadership role in global affairs becomes questionable. At present, it is imposing its will on the world through fear-either by the threat of force or unilateral sanctions. Many of its "allies" host U.S. troops and must contribute to their upkeep. How can a truly sovereign nation allow foreign troops to be permanently stationed on its soil? Since WWII, the United States has started 201 wars, overthrew 36 foreign leaders, killed or attempted to kill 50, dropped bombs in 30 countries, and interfered in 86 foreign elections. To make the world safe for democracy, the US has caused the deaths of tens of millions of people in its conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. The CIA was involved in covert operations that resulted in mass killings of communists in over 22 countries, 500,000 to 2,000,000 Indonesian civilians disappeared in 1965-1966. The 'Arsenal of Democracy' produces 40 percent of the world's weapons. It is a very profitable business model in which other countries buy these weapons to fight each other. The key is maximizing profits without shedding US blood by inducing conflicts between and within countries outside the USA. One client is eager to spend AUD 368 billion to buy a few high-quality used nuclear-powered submarines. This business model's critical components are NATO, QUAD, ANZUS, Five Eyes, AUKUS, and MCC (Mutual Cross-Service Agreement).

Used to consider this topic by assuming the world leader position for example as Mr. trump at present. The more factors weight in the more complex the role can face with. Looking at 2024 situation in USA and worldwide exactly as it is then complications roll over in a tangle ways. The past is the past and all may need to be consider at current time 2024 to be any useful for the near future perhaps. 😊. Do not assume isolation from any particular nation especially not America. But USA need to be strong first and that should be fulfilled foremost. He started well to my opinion and we should try to understand and help with comments which truly help, at least that is my intention if I may.😮
