Matt is one cool dude. One of the good guys. This knife isbwhat I've been wanting a while. Almost a straight over modify of the jungle bowie. Love the wide head and simplicity.

Hey Wingman! happy to write to you! I am a retired Crash and Special Rescues Officer living in the North of Québec Canada Province! I started my little sharpening and repairknife shop and at the same time building my self a nice collection of all kinds of knives from Kitchen to Surbibing!I just Bought the Condor and should receive it in a week! My question is what Angle would you sharp this incredible knife? I hv quit a few Nice Surviving knifes in my collection that i sharp between 20 - 22 angle specialy for durability and sharpeness! So what do you recomand for this Condor? You are so lucky to have met Matt i am jalous of you 100%! So thank you for all that your doinmg dont stop and keep on the good work! From the dep North Frank (Sorry for my enlish writing French and Spanish being my primery languages!

Thanks for the comment my friend. Most of my blades I use outdoors I put a 20 deg angle on it. It works best for me. Stay sharp my friend. Take care.

I really want to get one of the regular primitive knives. I love the look of the sheath but wish it had a dangler on it. Love the look of the canyon carver.

Wish I didn't know about this one, though Condor apparently does a good job w/ their SS I prefer HC steel. Still pricey for a cut down machete but I think the sheath looks pretty solid so not a bad deal. I sure wouldn't mind having one to play around with.

Also btw you should tell Condor they need to put it in a 1095 carbon steel or at least make it a little bit softer. I've found it very hard to get sparks with the basic bushcraft.

bought the canyon carver, pretty good knife, i don't think it was the same sheath as in the video but still holds the knife in there pretty tight. couldn't have asked for a better carver
