It’s a clone of the British Army Northern Ireland Chest Rig issued to squaddies on Op Banner from the mid 90’s.

I would love to test this out. The dump pouch and the radio pouch can be belt mounted. Glue/sew some hook/loop to the inside and you can use danglers and many other things

Hello, thanks for showing. I have an idea that I would like to share with you. It's about dividing up the individual small pieces of equipment. Let's say the large pocket on the right, as seen by the wearer, is not closed properly and the contents could fall out. For example, there is the possibility of losing both lighters and the magnesium fire starter. Then all means of making a fire are suddenly lost. That's why, in my opinion, it would be better to distribute these things on the chest rig. Many greetings from Germany, Torsten

Unless you are SEAL Team Delta Ranger, Condor is fine. Maintain the gear and reinforce seams if necessary. If you’re watching youtube gear video’s you are not humping thru the Hindu Kush mountains on missions. If I was in the market for a chest rig Id buy this in a heart beat.
@JR-ld1et7 ай бұрын
Hey how do you reinforce the seams . ? Do you pay for a seamstress to do that or can you do it at home ? N how much is it to do that
@missourisurvivalandoutdoor95477 ай бұрын

Good vid Mr . I got the recon 5 chest rig and was sent a replacement and had bad stitching on the strap to panel contact areas . I think I’m gonna just see how much it is to reinforce the seems . Mr Flores from condor has been very helpful trying to make it right and get me a functional rig since I got two duds . Hopefully the third one is a charm !!!

This Condor rig has always reminded me of the Vietnam era Ak chest rigs. Ive always wondered will it fit pmag 40s?
@missourisurvivalandoutdoor95477 ай бұрын
Probably but you would have to adjust the buckles out and hope the top flap is deep enough if I had 40s I’d try it and show you but I don’t

Not on this chest rig its a slower rig so to speak but the condor recon and the MCR 5 both do the open top with bungees

Rats tq has been reported to be more damaging than good. Most tq's have been going wider and wider. What part of Missouri are you in? I am an hour away from Kansas City.
@missourisurvivalandoutdoor95477 ай бұрын
I’m in McDonald county I know people don’t like them but they definitely work and many tactical schools with stop the bleeding courses recommend them I’ve used mine on myself and I can get equal width with multiple circumfrential wraps in comparison with a NAR CAT. I still like CAT Tourniquets though most people screw up the application of a RATS I’ve seen videos from channels demonstrating it’s “terrible design and “failure to get full arterial occlusion” and they clearly didn’t apply it according to the basic instructions it comes with. I like several different designs,use what you’re comfortable with as long as you know you can get results and practice with it you are better for it regardless of what tourniquet you choose to go with and avoid Amazon chicom fakes there’s tons of them 😂
@JamesJohnson-if8rz7 ай бұрын
@@missourisurvivalandoutdoor9547 well, no.. I meant to say they are too narrow and cause cutting type damage when properly applied. Much like why we avoid using 550cord and boot laces. The reason for a single wide strap of webbing is to prevent that. I have a softw and about six cats. Softw is good for legs. Cats when staged work wonders on arms. Remember a femoral arterial bleed can result in death under 30 seconds pending rate of loss and other factors. Time is of essence. I am in saline county. You down there around are-cans-ass
