Man, I remember us talking about doing these blank projects years ago. You finally did one! That's awesome! Brother, those handles look fantastic. you did a killer job on them. Cocobolo is one of my favorite woods. Thanks for sharing this with us.

K yeah, your bushlore came out beautiful.. this will scratch my itch I got with making knives.. I’ve done some file knives in the past but now with a wife and kids I’m hard pressed for time. This looks perfect to stay sharp in the tool shed and not have so many hours sacrificed into a finished knife that may or may not perform as expected, atleast with these blanks the steel is 99.9 percent likely to be as perfect as you’d want it to be

Nice! That is a beautiful Bushlore, I share if I wouldn't have seen the Elsalvador stamp on the side that it was a much higher end blade, awesome scales on that.

Great video Jon, I know what you're saying my daughter does the same thing. I mad knife several weeks ago the steel was from a machete and the wood handle is from mahogany. I made a small butcher style knife and palm sheath my daughter ask me to send it to her in Florida. I decline to send it to her to Florida due to the state law. I know what's legal or not.
