Condor Cavelore is a variant of the Bushlore. I think it's a great bushcraft knife and it has become my go to knife that I wear almost every day.

despite the flaw for being scandi ground, i actually prefer leaf-shaped blades. I like how they slice and how you can more easily rock the blade through cuts in some cases. i like that material has a tendency to be pushed toward the base of the blade and requires less pushing with your wrist, as well.

I like the Scandi grind, it's my favourite grind. It takes a bit more work to sharpen it when it's leaf shaped, that's all.

I've been using the Condor Mini Bushlore for about six years. It is my EDC and I can shave with it. I recently ordered a Morakniv Kansbol. I will carry both knives. Condor really surprises people with it's quality and sharpness.

Id like to have their Otzi knife, but its so cool and nice, im fairly certain I wouldn't really use for fear or losing or breaking it haha. Plus, i already have a lot of bushcraft knives. Maybe ill get it if my condor bushlore needs replacing, which i dont see happening anytime soon!

Great review! Looks a great knife I have a Matt Graham tool and knife mk 1 I say mk1 as they have made another, but it's got very mixed reviews it's a condor make and despite its size I have managed to tunnel bone a leg of lamb and boned out a hole chicken.the blade is blunt just away from the handle whitch a lot of people dont like but when you start boneing out meat ect you find out why . Again great review and I like your personal improvements on the knife .

I was going to buy This Condor Cavelore, but i read a lot o people that says that usually the condor wooden handle are really bad and the pieces have a gap or moves. So i chose the Marttiini Lynx carbon hammered blade, quite similar maybe not that fancy but certified quality and better price. And last but not least I prefeer an European-made blade than an El Salvador-made company.
@BjornOutdoors
@BjornOutdoors Жыл бұрын
I am sure that is a great knife too. I only have one Martiini knife, though. The handle on the Cavelore is great, very comfortable for my hand and I have used it a lot already. But this will be individual. Btw, El Salvador people need jobs too.

@@BjornOutdoors Hi Bjorn thanks for the reply, I appreciate that you like this knife due to its slightly particular design, but honestly there are already many videos in which you talk to us about Condor knives, honestly for me this is simply advertising, nothing new, internet It's full of ads. But honestly, I would have expected more from you, that you were more consistent with the ideals that you prophesy so much in your videos, freedom, independence, fight against the system and large companies (including pharmaceutical ones), old values etc. I would have expected that perhaps I would give space to an independent artisan knife maker who produces unique, quality knives. Everyone has the right to do what they want in their videos, but at a certain point you understand where the wind is blowing.

IN MY OPINION, THE DESIGN OF THIS KNIFE IS A MIXTURE OF A SAMI FINNISH KNIFE, AS IT CONCERNS, THE SHEATH, THE GRIND AND THE HANDLE, A YAKUTAN KNIFE, AS IT CONCERNS THE MAIN PART OF THE BLADE, A LITTLE BIT AND THE FINAL TOUCH FROM RAY MEARS KNIFE, AS IT CONCERNS THE EDGE AND THE SHAPE OF THE BLADE. ALL THE CONDOR LORES ARE AWESOME, EXCELLENT DESIGNS, VERY SHARP BLADES AND SPINES, THE EXACT THICKNESS OF THE SPINE FOR BUSHCRAFT TASKS AND VERY AFFORDABLE, AS IT CONCERNS THE PRICE. PROBABLY, IN SOME OF THEM YOU CAN FIND SOME SMALL MISTAKES, BUT IN THE END OF THE DAY, YOU CAN MODIFY THEM QUITE EASILY, THIS IS THE REASON WHY THE PEOPLE LIKE CONDOR KNIVES AND TOOLS, IT IS WORTH THE MONEY AND FINALLY, NOBODY IS PERFECT. OTHERWISE, YOU HAVE TO PAY APPROXIMATELY 250 - 300 € FOR AN LT WRIGHT KNIFE OR 600 £ FOR A RAY MEARS ONE. I VOTE CONDOR. EXCELLENT CHOICES AS WELL, THE JOKER BUSHLORD FROM SLEIPNER STEEL FOR 110€ OR THE J&V CDA BUSHLORE FOR 100€ FROM 12C27 SS, MADE IN SPAIN. NICE VID.
