@@yogsothoth5370 no. It’s threaded thru the belt and the top, just not the bottom. Much easier to remove one handed quietly and ditch or access items etc etc etc.

I love it! Belt kit is way underrated. You might consider replacing the admin pouches to left and right of your buttpack with MOLLE canteen pouches. They have 2 small side pouches each, Al flap to close, and can hold a canteen (duh), up to 6 AR mags, a USGI IFAK, a few MREs, or a ton of other things.
