I’ve had 2 of the Blackhawk Lraak both OD still have one. and the SFLCS Harness from Eagle. My thumbnail shows me wearing the Blackhawk in 2004. Pros: bombproof, floatation capability, plenty of adjustment( if not too much). The floatation padding can be removed and field stripped MREs and sealed IFAK packets can be placed inside which still adds padding but is more functional. 12 mags, 2 2 qts canteen 2 Saw pouches and a buttpack on the fixed black hawk. Users preference for the molle Cons: too bulky, the suspenders are just too big. maybe too overbuilt. Limited use around DoD so there’s no real institutional knowledge around the platforms. The originals are unobtanium. Overall I still keep to the concept and overall layout of the Blackhawk layout, I just use more modern materials (mainly in the suspenders. It’s a VERY good system, I just wish someone would make equipment that would modernize it a little.

Good stuff!!! Why Eagle stopped making their LBE lines of stuff is a real shame, stuff is bomb-proof.

Everybody keeps saying the LBE has gone the way of the dodo but it keeps making a comeback.

@@PegasusTests For good reason!!! At least Condor, Tasmanian Tiger, Crossfire, Jayjay's Original, Nixieworks, and a couple others have options to have one apart from the dwindling 'surp market.

You could argue which came 1st. Its more inspired by the israeli LBE. It more OD than Khaki.

This is the RLCS Ranger green version. It was made in RG and Khaki (SEALs and Army SF got khaki in MLCS and SFLCS) and later AOR1/2 for SEALs and Multicam after that
