I'm going for the village parang. going to sand the handle and oil it with linseed oil and rub some beeswax into the handle to seal it. I heard the handle arrives bone dry and can break due to vibrations?

haven't had any issues with mine but it makes sense to care for the wood,,, worse case it can be rescaled.

so nice, works out about £45 in the UK that's just ridiculous for a chopper of this standard, looks absolutely mint with the speckled finish. don't know how they can give you a solid leather sheath with it at this price, either there giving it away or everyone else is ripping us off, Machete Porn.

Condor is a good example of a cheap production of very good products. Accorfinf to my own experience Condor id the answer to extremely expensive products of renown swedish and norvegian companies!

Pretty sure the wood in the handle is walnut. It's a good idea to rub some sort of finish/oil; into the wood and keep the blade oiled.

The Condor parangs and machetes I ownn have the hadles of rosewood a much more valuable wood than walnut! I rinsed them with linseed oil with eccellente results!

Condors are similar to Cold Steel in value. You make very Good in adding Condor line to Knives Town. You may wanna check another good value knife company called Aranyik. Their channel is taysahai. Here is a review by WeAllJuggleKnives (watch?v=ipSZXJoK1Vk).
