Hi, Wonder where you got the 33 uSv figure for traditional FMX? A traditional FMX using F speed and round collimation should result in an absorbed dose of approx. 170 uSv. Darn little, but not 33. The figure you quoted is appropriate for rectangular collimation, which is rarely employed in the USA.

Oral radiologists are the authority for cbct interpretation. Pathologist should do the final diagnosis using histology.
