Thanks for sharing more of your Vegas adventures. Some really interesting equipment there. Loved the time lapse of the airport, liked the planes approaching clip, reminded me of diner at Sims Landing in Golden Colorado. It’s on top of a very tall hill looking down on Denver and at the time the old Denver airport landing approach was straight at the window, and at any time you could see probably 30 or more planes stacked up coming in to land. It was simply amazing to watch. Started out with maybe 3 planes in a line in 8 parallel lines, then they merged into 4 parallel lines, then two lines, and finally one line landing. From placing our order to leaving there were still as many planes in the same basic pattern landing maybe a few min apart. Stay safe and virus free.

Thanks for another great video from ConExpo!! I didn't see that Huddig TLB/basket unit until the last day when they were wrapping up their exhibit. As to that Vermeer rock trencher, here in Las Vegas because of our caliche rock (typically 10,000psi-14,000psi) we use rock trenchers all the time. As an example, D-8 and D-9 Cats with rippers can't touch the caliche here in many cases so trenchers are used to cross-cut the area and then bring in the dozers w/ rippers. For pipe placement on large diameter sewer lines, the trenchers are used to make one pass on one side, then backfill and make another pass on the other side and backfill. Then bring in a large track hoe (like a CAT 390 or Liebherr 974 both about 90-ton excavators and cut out the center slot and then place the pipe. But the caliche is such slow going that on one job we were lucky to get 30 feet done in one shift. Without those big rock trenchers, this caliche is just bad news. Anyway, thanks for the great videos and the narration!!

Equipment shows like that are a lot of fun. Volvo might make good equipment, but all of their trucks I have driven have left much to be desired. I like seeing what the European companies are doing with the compact machines, as most of those cites don't have the space for larger equipment to squeeze into.
