@@toxic_shr00m Power lifters , as opposed to body builders, don't do many exercises targeted at shaping and defining their muscles, opting instead to focus solely on building more of it, but still have to intake just as many calories a day, if not more, than body builders to maintain them. This usually ends up making power lifters appear more stout, because they're converting the protein into muscle but not burning the fat. There's a reason you never see a "World's Strongest Man" competitor also go for Mr.Olympia, and vice versa.

Dear Coney, Thank you for defending Wario's honor as more than just fart man, and correctly calling out smash as the main cause for that. Wario's is a greedy asshole adventurer built like a brick house and often the comedy comes from him getting his shit kicked in constantly (AKA the transformations) the only difference is that he is canonically immortal so he instead uses this to his advantage even if he looks like an idiot.

That last minute Rosa attack lol. I think Rosalina is the most competent out of the three princesses, she does all sorts of shit in Galaxy her debut game. Peach is off getting kidnapped again meanwhile Rosalina leads the comment observatory, raises the Luma's that Mario cant complete his journey without, and she+mario are the only ones alive after the blackhole destroys everything in the ending before the reset thanks to the Luma's she raised. What the hell has peach done besides have her own adventure where they literally made her power be her emotions (why did they do that to her wtf)? Daisy does even less.

I agree, and this comment illustrates how, despite Nintendo not doing much with Rosa after SMG1, she still has that story to call her own, unlike the other princesses unfortunately. Daisy has potential, but it's never been realized and judging by her absence from mainline titles, it doesn't seem like Nintendo has any interest in fulfilling it, which is a shame. While am at it, I don't think Peach having 'super emotions' has to be bad, since it'd give her a reason for being so "blank" most of the time, but yeah, the execution was definetly not the best, specially since you'd think she'd use her powers to break free from Bowser and save her (presumably) beloved kingdom and its inhabitants, but alas...

Rosalina is easily the best in mainline games. Her backstory told in the library, her powers and actions in the Galaxy games alone speak more than anything Peach has ever done. However, in the spinoff games (party and sport games) I feel like she's the more bland one. Her voice acting seems neither enthusiastic nor majestic to me, her one trait is that she's hovering and there's not much personality either. Daisy is the exact opposite. Virtually no significance in mainline games and not much character development going on. But from her actions, acting, gestures etc. you can tell that she's easily the most spirited princess. Mario Strikers does a good job at portraying the differences between both of them. Peach's potential is utterly wasted. Super Mario 64 made me think she has the power to make usage of the power of the stars, but alas she's just a character to be kidnapped and saved and that's mostly it. And in the spinoff games she's just your average princess prototype, nothing outstanding really. So I'd say for mainline games Rosalina > Peach > Daisy And spinoff games Daisy > Rosalina > Peach

@@AwesomeMooseSmile it's true that Nintendo gave each of them a miniscule amount of personality and character development, especially in sports and party games (not like there's much you can do in them to begin with). So a I'm going with the very few hints I have. Mario Strikers sums them up perfectly imo: Rosalina shows the least amount of emotion when, scoring, winning or losing. Rosalina gets all fired up doing somersaults, sliding on the grass and doing the Tobey Maguire dance and her voice has energy compared to Rosalinas weak "woohoo". Peach is all classy and shows the elegance of a princess and when she's losing she tries to keep her cool. Of course it's difficult to notice in other games. I'm mainly going off their voices and unfortunately Rosalinas bored voice doesn't match her elegance imo.

1 mil sales can be really good, it all depends on the budget spent. 1 million sales is good for any game that isn't AAA these days. As a developer myself, if I were to make a game with 4 more people and we sold 100 000 we would still profit quite a bit off of it if it was made within a reasonable time-frame, even if the game was just 10 dollars. That has some marketing budgeted in there and obviously salaries and additional small costs that just comes with launching stuff. Most AAA titles need to sell about 2-3mil to start making profit I believe, but it's big profit after that. If a game sells 500 000 units after breaking even that's a lot of profit. For a game like FFVII Remake that would be about 30mil in profit, which is probably not what a game like that should expect but it is still meaningful profit. People get blinded by sales numbers thinking anything that doesn't sell like GTA, Minecraft, Elden Ring etc is a flop which is just not true. These are unrealistic comparisons people are making. If a game makes profit it's a win, the market is very saturated and a lot of games simply do not break even. This is where microtransactions come in, people are trying to get money from as few individuals as possible in-case their game doesn't sell as expected. Whales if you will. It's real bad when the industry starts relying on X amount of individuals to make profit rather than actually attempting to make a *great* game that will sell well.
