I mean there isn't much more to it. They swept the competition, a 12 man bracket ran late because Lain went to smoke before what could have been any major's grands happened. M2K won, as was often the case in Brawl. Then for a while after the event only M2K and Lain were left so since the event was in my living room I just kind of third wheeled a rotation and got my ass beat for hours.

The parents of the birthday kid were fucking loaded. Imagine dropping $200 for the winner of the Smash bros tournament at your kid's party. Like, even if their kid won, they still would've given $200 to their kid, which is $199 more than what a kid needs.

I sniped a tournament at a game lounge right next to a alamo draft house once too. The cash prize had suddenly changed into a gift card for the store. I bought store play hour vouchers or whatever then sold them to the people there. Lol.
