That’s what bothers me the most. Like, you’re already crossing a line by sending a bunch of children into the middle of the desert, at least take the opportunity to make it an interesting show and see what kind of society they actually create. With this show, not only are they stranding children in the desert, there’s not even an actual kid nation to somewhat justify it.
@pintolerance785
@pintolerance785 Жыл бұрын
@@diegodollarhide6663 exactly there was no trying to see what kind of political society the kids would make if was just like, "let's separate them into teams and rip off survivor da doyyy." Like the producers couldn't even follow their own show they were making. How epic would it have been if the kids were just like 1 team was communist. 1 team was capitalist. 1 team was hierarchy. 1 team was socialist. But NOOOOOOO that'd be too complex for the general audience.

Once a spider bite me. One day I hit the wound with a shelf or something, then it started to bleed a lot and pus started to come out. Then my mom literally rub and wash my bleeding wound with force (you see people washing their cars with their hands and cloth pieces. Then there's this spot that you need to wash so you apply more strength but it's not going off so you use more strength and it's all a never ending cycle until you barely managed to wash a tiny percentage of that spot but your tired and then give up) Imagine that but with my 11 year old arm. Then we go to the hospital and they do the exact same thing. After that, they told me to be careful with it and to not get it wet. There was also like a pool party the next day before summer. Also I live in a state that's literally a desert.

Yeah, the town's economy would have suffered from a crippling liquidity crisis. They had no precious metals to mint or use to back a currency and no real way of injecting money into the system or of creating more money, so how would have an economy worked anyway? At best they would have had imaginary Kidbucks given to them by the producers but a huge issue there would be static amount of money where the amount of money in the system would never change. This all would've necessitated feudal like economy where only way to trade would be to barter one good for another or to exchange hours of labor for goods or different labor. e.g "I'll work 5 hours in your farm you give me x amount of that good".

@@Dendarang uh, where TF did you get the idea that the money supply has to be non-static? We ain't trading with aliens, so do you think that if governments stopped printing money the world economy would literally collapse? Money is like blood; it's not meant to come in from outside or leave inside, it's just meant to flow around and make shit work, only replenishing whatever is lost or destroyed; having not enough is going to be worse than having too much, but either will fuck you over; and politicians have an unending hunger to suck more and more of it from their people like livestock. (notable difference is that they suck money through inflation and taxes unlike blood which they suck from the jugular.)

Fun fact about kid nation. The "ghost town" isn't a real ghost town, while there is a real Bonanza City ghost town, the show was filmed at a place called Bonanza Creek Movie Ranch. I wonder what kind of utopia lifestyle characters would live in if someone wrote a book about kids from 12 different districts having to fight each other each year.
