Fun fact: the brawl CPUs will *always* taunt when there is no target available so long as they’re on stage in a “safe zone” as designated by the AI. They’re literally hard-coded to do that and that cannot be stopped through just the scripting language it uses - mods have to be use to actually disable it outright by overwriting the compiled C++ code No one “taught” the CPUs anything, though they do have defensive and offensive modes of operation ahahah

Level 9 Ganon is best at fighting other CPUs in Melee, but extremely exploitable by human players (even by Melee AI standards). Level 9 Luigi would give a better fight even despite him being unable to recover.

You did manage to pull it (presumably by accident) on one of Pikachu's stock, but in case you don't know. In Smash 64, CPU's aren't programmed to try and recover if their hit out of their Up Special. Could've brought that 5 stock match down to 30 seconds :)
